What is Encounter?

Join us for Encounter Nights! These special nights of worship happen once a month on Sunday evenings from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Come experience powerful music, heartfelt expressions of faith, and the opportunity to connect with God and others. Arrive early at 5:15 PM to grab a seat and meet new people! We can't wait to see you there!

  • Parking: Enter the parking lot via Centinela Ave or look for our "Vineyard Parking" signs in our other lots.

  • Families: Families are welcome to attend Encounter Nights together! We also offer infant care in our VineyardKids space.

  • What to Expect: Each Encounter Night is unique! Sometimes we focus on worship and prayer, and other times we might have baptisms, healing services, or prophetic appointments. Check our social media each month to see the theme for the upcoming Encounter Night.

What can I expect?

Kingdom Sessions

Before each Encounter Night, we offer "Kingdom Sessions" from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. These are 20-minute appointments where you can receive encouragement, prophetic words, and prayer for deliverance from a trained team of three. When you sign up, we'll ask you to share a little about what you'd like prayer for. Our team will then journey with you through a powerful 20-minute session. No prior experience is needed – just come with an open heart!

Here are some examples of what you might experience during a Kingdom Session:

  • Prophecy & Words of Encouragement: Our prayer team is trained to hear from Jesus through the Holy Spirit. They may share prophetic insights or specific words of knowledge for you.

  • Deliverance & Freedom: Sometimes, it becomes clear during a session that there's a need for deliverance and freedom from things like spiritual oppression, unhealthy sin patterns, or past hurts and trauma. Our team is here to help you break free and walk in the fullness of God's Kingdom.

  • Encouragement & Prayer: We all need encouragement! Your Kingdom Session might also be a time of receiving scripture readings, sung prayer, and uplifting reminders of God's truth.
